What are the Nazcat II GTX Boots?
They’re durable trekking boots with a classic, timeless design, developed to last for years of use. The Nazcat II GTX model is built with a waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane and premium leather to ensure maximum durability and protection in varying terrains.
What are they made of?
Upper: The upper comprises high-quality Terracare nubuck leather, which is soft and flexible yet incredibly durable, abrasion-resistant and easy to clean, making it perfect for long multi-day adventures and exploring varying terrain, whether a rocky path or muddy trail.
Lining: The lining feels smooth inside and features a waterproof Gore-Tex® membrane that provides ample weather protection without compromising breathability.
Sole: A Vibram® Fuoraska sole provides ample underfoot grip to help you move with confidence. Deep 6.5mm lugs help dig into softer ground, while a small climbing zone delivers extra precision and traction when scrambling over rocks. The sole also features a marked heel design to increase grip during descents.
What are their features?
A soft ankle cuff enhances comfort and provides enough support without feeling rigid and restrictive. The instep is super durable to help reduce wear and tear, even after years of regular use.
Two-zone lacing is easy to use and allows for a more precise fit. The lacing system features clamping lace hooks that hold the laces in place and prevent them from slipping to give you extra peace of mind on the trail.
These boots have a unique one-piece construction that minimises seams, helping to increase longevity and making the Nazcat II GTX easier to care for.
The rocker shaping on the sole noticeably allows the foot to roll off the ground more naturally to help alleviate foot fatigue and allow for a more natural movement, despite these boots being pretty substantial in both design and weight.
A large rubber rand around the bottom of the boot also gives you the additional reinforcement to ensure your feet and toes won’t get bashed against solid rock.
